My Role

React Native Developer A few of the surfaces I shaped on this project

Zenfeat — Cuisine-paged Home

Cuisine-paged Home

Single-dish cards per cuisine - Italian, Mexican, Indian - with a soft parallax on the food photo so the feed reads as editorial, not a menu.

Zenfeat — Chef detail

Chef detail

Full-bleed plate photography anchored by a floating action rail and the chef's identity, kept compact so the dish stays the hero of the screen.

Zenfeat — Reservation-style ordering

Reservation-style ordering

Request Order replaces a hard checkout with cravings, distance, time, food tags, and a free-form note - draft-safe via a typed Zustand store.

Notes

Zenfeat is a mobile marketplace for independent chefs, designed around photo-first food discovery and direct ordering. I worked as a React Native developer building the core mobile experience.

My focus was creating smooth, editorial-style browsing flows across the Home feed, chef profiles, and reservation-style ordering system. A key challenge was balancing immersive photography with functional UI elements without overwhelming the content.

I also helped modernize the app architecture by migrating legacy Redux patterns to a typed Zustand and React Query setup, improving cold-start performance and simplifying state management across the application.
